Our association is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of members and their families through the preservation of our unique area and beaches.
The Northville Beach Civic Association (NBCA) was established in 1956 for Northville Beach residents in the town of Riverhead, New York.
Our mission is to foster a sense of citizenship and civic pride within the community; promote neighborly respect and admiration for our extraordinary landscape; and recognize the unique experience our community provides to our youth through the NBCA scholarship fund.
NORTHVILLE BEACH CIVIC ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE:
• Successfully petitioned the town to reduce the
speed limit on Sound Shore Road
• Represented the neighborhood in opposition to the proposed
URT oil storage facility expansion and biofuel storage
• Participated in the preservation of Northville Preserve
• Ongoing participation in the East End Helicopter Noise Task Force
• Ongoing partnering with the town regarding Sound Avenue
traffic control during the Fall season
• Awarding of annual scholarships for college students
• Hosting of social gatherings for members throughout
the year, including our annual Scholarship Party
